Yes, the Pistons must rely on their bench more to keep the starters fresh. But that doesn't compel Saunders to go to the reserves unless they have worked their way into the game plan.

If thats the case, Maxiell must not be doing much in practice... because in games he has looked good in his limited junk minutes. I want to see him get some regular burn in the middle of the season somewhere. It looks like we've got things under control, why not give him some first half time? He couldn't play much worse than the starters do in the first half of games, and he'd probably give us more intensity than they do before the 3rd quarter!

Flip on the radio said today he wouldn't be suprised if Maxiell got some burn on this road trip.

I have a hard time believing that Max isn't working extremely hard in practice. Of course, that could be my Bearcat Homer glasses too

Do the math guys the starters + dyess are all getting 30-35 a game. Which leaves the rest of the bench fighting for table scraps. I hate to be cliche but best starting 5 in the league... There is no soft spot who is givin the bench minutes right now. If you want the bench to play better hope for an injury. The players like ben, even injured are gonna keep on goin.
