A loss is a loss, though I seriuosly wish we had REbraca and Livingston and Mags for this one.
Only one conclusion, unless Ben, Duncan, O'neal, Nowitzki, Macgrady, and Shaq are injured come playoff time, we're not going to even have a hope of getting the Franchise's first Championship.

Your team is alot better than I thought they were, even without Mags. I think its just a matter of chemistry, they looked a little flustered at times and thats a sign of a young team. I remember our starting 5 a few years ago wasnt thought of a very good unit, as a matter of fact most " experts" considered them cast offs and now look at em.

All I can say is, if the Clippers have Livingston, Rebraca and Mags come February when we play the Pistons again, look for them to be fired up.
Dunleavy won't forget what Rasheed said to him, and Livingston would provide a matchup problem for detroit.

I would be glad to see the Clips again in febuary and hopefully both teams are at full strength, As far as Dunleavy is concerned I think his whack a Wallace gameplan mighta been a little effective if the game were actually close.when youre down by double digits you need to hit your own shots not foul your players outta the game. I think your team is better than in recent memory, but they are not on par with Detroit.

The Clippers forgot something...
If you're going to foul the worst FT shooter in the NBA history to get back into the game, well you still have to score on the other end too.

Re: Game Thread: Game #17: Los Angeles Clippers vs Detroit Pistons
Gah... game wasn't on TV in Toledo last night. I was reduced to watching the Lions blow another one. I was actually pulling at the end of the 1st for them to not score a TD, give Hanson 3FG in the 1st quarter, hoped maybe we could at least get an NFL record out of the game... lol... that woulda put him on pace for 12FG... C'mon Lions, give Hanson a shot to set a record and distinguish his long and solid career! Not like you're going to win any anyway.

Ok, nevermind. it just took a little reading of an article.
Quote:
Rasheed Wallace, who had his differences with Dunleavy when he played for him in Portland, didn't mince his words.
"No, I was not surprised (he did that) at all," said Wallace. "That dumb (bleep)."
Wallace and Dunleavy cussed at each other in the final seconds, with Wallace getting a technical foul
"That's bull," said Wallace. "We were cussing each other out. But that's OK. I know I am PE (public enemy) No. 1. I couldn't care less."
|
... I didn't see the game, but it seems like all the fouling did was take away the Clips momentum.
