Point guard Chauncey Billups had 258,106 votes and ranked No. 5 among Eastern Conference guards, behind Allen Iverson, Dwyane Wade, Vince Carter and Jason Kidd. Pistons shooting guard Richard Hamilton had 192,200 votes and was eighth on the list. Iverson had 1,144,250 votes and Wade had 827,913.
Ben Wallace ranked second among centers with 583,208 votes. Miami's Shaquille O'Neal had more than one million votes.
Forwards Rasheed Wallace and Tayshaun Prince weren't left out, either. Rasheed Wallace is third in the East among forwards, following LeBron James and Jermaine O'Neal, and Prince ranked eighth.
I'm not surprised by it. I am surprised, though, that Rasheed Wallace managed to place first as far as Eastern forwards go.
I'm actually suprised they're that high, espicially Sheed and Chauncey. Not saying they don't deserve to be that high (Chauncey should be higher), but I really thought they'd be lower. Hopefully we'll get at least two guys in.
