Salim Stoudamire though, despite a little too much freedom IMO, is an impressive scorer with a future. He could play a Rip Hamilton sort of role in the future, slashing and scoring with pops from all over.

Chauncey just played the role of reaper. Those three triples in the first three of the 4th just put the scyth through the heart of the Hawks. If it wasn't over already, that pretty much was a way of telling them to their faces that they simply could not hang.

Darko coming in late. The Atlanta crowd went crazy when Darko got up off of the bench. Not many players can go by their first name like this young phenom... I can only think of a few others... Kobe, Lebron, Melo... And Darko.

In other news: Delfino just put home a quick 8 and narrowly missed making it 11 points in short order as that last triple bounced off of the rim. They're having a good time out there tonight. The backups are hanging nicely with the ATL boys.

Solid game by the bench, Ive been waiting all season to type that.. I wish Darko would play with the intensity of Maxiell, man that young fella is attackin the rim like it slept with his wife. Hope this bench confidence sticks around.

Its what we expected. It was good that our starters basically got the 4th quarter off because of the game tommorow. I didn't Arroyo played that good tonight though. He is a great passer but he can't do a damn thing else on the floor.

BTW If I had a pick a player to score 100 it would be Salim Stoudamire that guy is always looking to shoot. He has a pretty good stroke too.

I can see why you are hard about Arroyo, but I dont think he will ever be the prototypical run the offense point guard, and Im ok with that as long as the coach uses him to his strengths. When Arroyo comes in the tempo has to change with him and that is where our bench has to step up. I like the idea of using the bench as a gear change rather than being a holdover until we can get the starters back in. I loved the pressure defense and in your grill attitude the reserves were playing with. I think if Arroyo is allowed to run his style of offense off the bench we will be ok, if we need to be methodical and run the sets? Hunter will be back soon enough.
