Matching up with the Bucks

Quote:
Small forward

Tayshaun Prince is one of the most versatile threes in the league. With his long arms, he's a defensive stopper. With his high basketball IQ, he almost never turns the ball over or makes a bad decision. He can hit shots from outside or down low. Bobby Simmons is the Bucks' No. 2 scorer and he can post up or go outside and knock down three-pointers. But after being named the 2003-04 most improved player, Simmons' scoring and rebounding both dropped this season.

Power forward

Rasheed Wallace is one of the best help-defenders in the league. And his offensive touch isn't bad, either, whether he's spotting up for open threes off pick-and-rolls or backing down an opponent in the paint. Rookie Andrew Bogut didn't exactly have a breakout season after going No. 1 in the draft. He averaged 9.4 points and 7.0 rebounds a game. Bogut, at 7 feet, helps give the Bucks one of the East's most imposing front lines. But why is Bogut so often playing on the perimeter?

Re: Matching up with the Bucks

I take issue with this guy saying rasheed is one of the best 'help-defenders' in the league. He is one of the best defenders at his position period. I do agree with the freep that the only matchup in the starters where the bucks have an edge is at the sg spot. I think the bucks bench does have an edge in scoring though.

This will be a good test of the pistons perimeter defense if past matchups are any indication.
