I remember that game. It was the first time I got to see Amir play, and I was very impressed. I expected the high flying, but the longe range jumpers (I believe one was a three) were surprising. That highlight shows what Carlos at his best and Carlos playing with confidence can do -- slashing, dunking, passing, and knocking down jumpers... Give him some PT.

Hmm... I thought that was the Milwaukee game that he had that dunk, but it's still good to see it again anyways. I'm pretty sure that was the highlight of his season. To this day I still haven't seen that Maurice Evans dunk, and Bill Laimbeer is just hilarious.

Maxiell looks like Sweetney with a Vertical and a Jumper.
Even after Wallace Signed in Chi-Town, I wasn't convinced that we could just write you guys off. After seeing your guys actually play, I'm sure you'll still be at least top 2-4 in the east.
Amir looks like a punk, but the other 2 guys NEED alot more PT.

Re: Jason Maxiell, Amir Johnson, Carlos Delfino vs the Bucks video
Out of these three prospects I gotta say that I'm most excited for Delfino and Johnson. I love Max, and I love his dunks and I look forward to seeing him get lots of burn, but physically I just don't think he has as high of a ceiling as the other too. Throw in Acker who seems to dominate every level of basketball except the NBA (yet) and you have a good (albeit surprisingly) young core. And here I thought Joe Dumars ****ed things up for good.

Re: Jason Maxiell, Amir Johnson, Carlos Delfino vs the Bucks video
I think Maxiell's ceiling is being a very good 2nd best player on the team type. He has the potential to wear the hell out of everyone in the post, be a very good scorer from midrange to the basket, and hopefully put that energy into being a good rebounder and good defender. I don't know about Amir and Delfino but I'm very happy with that type of potential, even if he only fufills it in half the areas.

Re: Jason Maxiell, Amir Johnson, Carlos Delfino vs the Bucks video
Unless Max is going to turn into a 18 and 10 guy, I think we're in serious trouble if he ever becomes our second best player. That's no diss on him, but I just don't see him becoming that good. i see him fitting into the role of a 6th man right now, and really I could be wrong. There are some really good players who come off the bench, but does he even have a position yet? Can anyone seeing him guarding starting power forwards? Getting of his shot and dunking on people doesn't seem to be a problem, and with his long arms I know he can block some shots, but I just don't see it. Honestly our young core right now consist of Tayshaun, Amir, and whoever we bring in with the Orlando pick.

Heh, I was just talking total potential far down the road. Pretty unlikely, like most rookie expectations.

That wasn't a Detroit channel. It was a milwaukee station.
