Hahaha, your whining analogies are golden. They deserve their own thread.

And...yes, I of course noticed it was a fan site. And that is part of the reason it loses credibility, because it is a Detroit fan site. It was not started by casual NBA fans who have a concern of the direction of the NBA. It was started by Rasheed Wallace fans with a heading of "Save Sheed". I'm sorry, but that is going to get this petition laughed at. It will be seen as a conflict of interest.
So you are only basing your decision on how phoenix fans think of sheed?

Umm, sure...because I never leave Arizona and never talk to anyone other than Phoenix fans. Nice try...well not really. I've talked to many fans outside of Phoenix as well, such as fans all across California.

No, that was not a personal attack at all. That was an attack at your attempt to discredit my argument by suggesting that my opinion is wrong because some of these were in Phoenix, and an attack on the fact that you didn't respond to anything else in my post but that.

Has a player ever convinced a ref to change their mind after a call?

The officiating will be adjusted if necessary, but in the meantime, this rule is not hurting anybody. What's so bad about making a 30 year old man accountable for his actions? Rasheed Wallace is one of many who give professional athletes a terrible image in the mind of casual sports fans. If you were working in an office and your colleague in the room next door started banging on his desk and screaming whenever your boss gave him something to do, would you think he's just passionate about his work? Or would you think he's a little *****?

It was a personal attack but what ever. I never said your opinion is wrong but if you check the nba general where there is a similar thread about the nba refs you will see that the majority "nba fans" think that its geting a little rediculas(sorry for my bad spelling ) about how the games are called.

Rasheed is misunderstood people decieve him as a baby on everycall(im not gonna lie sometimes he gets out of hand) but the majority of the time he just frustrated that he gets calls because of his reputation

SHEED!, in all due respect, a message board on the internet doesn't contain close to the actual NBA fan demographic. The average poster on this board is probably what, 16 years old? The majority of die hard NBA fans have probably never posted on a message board in their entire lives.

Oh yea, I agree completely, and it's frustrating as a Pistons fan. But society didn't just pick him and say 'oh you, you're going to be the token problem child', he earned the reputation himself. Some techincals in the past have been unjustified, but 90 percent of them are perfectly well deserved.

??? Ok, since you want to believe it was a personal attack, be my guest. Although I think I would know if it was a personal attack, since I am...you know...the one who posted it.

I posted my thoughts on why it was extreme right now, because they are trying to send a message. It will calm down further into the season.

I woulda have to disagree about that because a "die hard" Nba fan would wanna express their love for the nba or team to other people alike
