He may be lightning on the court, but Tayshaun Prince is dead on his feet in "Hood of Horror."
More than two hours of makeup were required for the Pistons forward to make a cameo appearance as a zombie in a sports jersey who walks on stumps and talks trash with rapper Snoop Dogg, the movie's star.
According to producer and co-writer Tim Sullivan, Prince was in Los Angeles in September 2005 when he heard about the movie and wanted to be a part of it.
"You know how you see sneakers strung over power lines in the city?" Sullivan says. "Prince isn't so lucky because his feet are still inside."
The movie will be shown at 10 p.m. Sunday in the Detroit area as part of an eight-film, weekend-long "Horrorfest." Go to www.horrorfestonline.com and click on "box office" for theater information.
