Re: Game Thread: Pistons vs Nets: Dec. 26/06
pistons fans are pathetic. if the nets EVER got a bs call their way, at least i would be man enough to admit it, and say we got lucky with the win. "carter ran sheed over?"!!!! are u ****ing kidding me. sheed stepped into carters previously wide open path, BUMPED HIM, wasnt set anyways, and flopped. what more do you need
Edit: Cmon Dude use some maturity Dont go and bash a whole fan base

Well, the line is pretty much opinions, not fact. Nets fans will always think Franks had the right to do what he did, the rest will always think he overreacted. But c mon, seriously was it needed to curse off a referee? It might have been an unfair call, but you get unfair calls all the time, and it's part of the game. As a coach, Franks is supposed to be a leader and set an example for the younger generation, and not let his emotions get to him.
I don't disagree with you about the 3 Ts, they deserved them. Sheed always complains about calls and also gets a lot of Ts. Does that give Franks the excuse to go ahead and start cursing off the Refs, because the Pistons do it? If the Pistons are immature, than Franks isn't any less for what he did.

Didn't stop him from T'ing up Chauncey, Sheed, and Dyess.
Anyway, I was cursing Tom Washington's name long before the final play. He blew about a half dozen calls in the second half alone, and most of them went in New Jersey's favor.
Even if he had blown the whistle, I'm not convinced he wouldn't have called an offensive foul. Vince initiated all of the contact. Sheed's feet were not set, but Vince hadn't turned the corner yet either. I've seen that play go both ways plenty of times this year.
Vince still got the shot he was looking for.

Last I saw we're one of the few fan-bases on this site to "man up" when we lose a playoff series and say g/g to the opposing fans and let it go. Miami fans still complain about last year's series and they won it! You guys just lost a regular season game and you're over here calling us pathetic for thinking it was a charge? It was a call that could have gone either way, and was a sad sad no-call by the referees, who did butcher that game.
But hey, I can see why you're a Lawrence Frank fan. Go over-react on your own board, kiddo, we don't need you around here.

Re: Game Thread: Pistons vs Nets: Dec. 26/06
piston fans aren't pathetic, i know a lot of them who can swallow their pride and say good game
the thing is, the nets have a had a horrible season FILLED with bad breaks
tom washington deserves a fine and suspension without pay
wtf was VC doing? he had to square up and take an easy shot, instead he tried to make a fade-away

No, but I am saying is I don't get why Nets fan complain about Pistons complaining when no one has a problem with Franks complaining. I was reading through the game thread, everyone said the Pistons complain a lot, and if I remember correctly only 1 person said franks should be fined, and no one agreed with him. Seems pretty bias to me. At least I agree Sheed complains. But Nets fans can't accept it that Franks was wrong for going crazy.

The Nets are a desperate team battling adversity (locker-room issues, injuries, chemistry problems and a poor start) and to lose a game like that after they fought hard on the road down by 13, can be heartbreaking and hence I can understand the coach's reaction (even though he went a little overboard).
