Pistons still relatively injury free

Quote:
The Pistons haven't had as much luck fighting the injury bug as they have had in years past. Rasheed Wallace has missed time with ankle problems, backup guard Lindsey Hunter is still out with pain in his Achilles heel, and Richard Hamilton sat two games in November with a hyperextended elbow.

But those injuries are nothing compared with other teams around the league.

This is the season of falling stars in the NBA.

Re: Pistons still relatively injury free

Injuries have been a huge part of this season. Almost every team lost one of their star player this season for at least a little while. The team staying fit is a huge part of our success, and god knows what will happen if we lose players like Rip to a huge injury. It's a good thing that the bench is stepping up for us, because then the chances of your star players getting injured are lower. We gotta keep up the bench work and we should be injury free through out the season.

Re: Pistons still relatively injury free

is it really luck? most of the guys on the team have a long history of playing without getting hurt (except maybe Rip).
