We play these guys twice in three nights. Its a perfect opportunity to make our draft pick from them better. They are going to make the playoffs but probably not better then a 7th or 8th seed. Darko should get some big minutes since Battie is hurt.

Okay, we played well, but the excessive free throws on both sides made it a hard game to watch. I'd like to say that we lucked out a bit that they were so bad from the line, but they wouldn't have won even if they made them all. Howard had a nice game, but he still needs to cut his turnovers.

I just got back from making the 300 mile trip there and back in one day. Man, there were stupid amounts of free throws tonight which didn't help me pitch the game of basketball to a novice friend of mine.

Chris Webber killed it in the second half, oh my god. It was fantastic.

Also it would have been nice to see Darko put in some shots, he was awful tonight.

If he made his freaking free throws, it wouldn't have been disastrous. He's played better as of late, but he is still a bad rebounder for his size. But still, he did get a couple of steals and blocks on us.

Anyone notice DD's performance. 3 blocked shots in 11 mins. That's something

Dale Davis did real well coming in for Chris Webber, I was happy to see that.

As for Darko? I don't think he's a horrible rebounder. Granted he could be better, but he constantly shows flashes of being a half decent one. There were a few offensive rebounds last night that helped reinforce that. Every now and then you can tell just by watching something that he does that he knows how to play the game of basketball. There was one play in particular that caught my eye last night, it was in the fourth quarter. Darko grabbed a defenesive rebound in traffic and proceeded to get hacked by a few of our guys, none of the Magic guards were open to get the outlet pass so Darko pushed through our guys and started to take it up on the dribble only until Carlos Delfino ran in and slammed him from the side resulting in a foul. It would hardly make a mix tape or anything, but a player with less of a feel for the game of basketball wouldn't have been able to even get the rebound in the first place, let alone hold on to it with our guys all over them.

I just remembered, one thing I noticed at the game was that there were a lot of empty seats. And Mason never came on the PA saying that we had a sellout. I wonder if our sellout streak ended last night at 163. Does anybody know where that information would even be?

It probably another sell out, season ticket holders prob just didn't show up.
