Kinda dead. Well, we won. Ray Allen had the ball at the end of the game and I was scared that he would tie, but he missed thankfully. A lot of their guys killed us from the three, and Wilcox was a monster, but we forced a lot of turnovers and were better on offense.

Webber's put together some nice games lately, it's really nice to see him playing so well even while he's playing within his own limitations.

How did we let Wilcox just waltz right into the basket in the first half? I mean frikin Wilcox?! Other than Ray Allen catching on fire in the 4th and the barrage of 3's, it was a good win.

(I can't belive I stayed up this late to watch this game, I still have a lot of studying to do)

Re: Game Thread: Pistons @ Sonics: Mar. 13/07

If Wilcox is anywhere near the basket, he can usually throw it down with force. The trick is to try to get him a few feet away from the basket, because he doesn't have any real post moves and his jumper is putrid. Still, we didn't really do that today. On the other hand, he didn't do much of anything to deter our big men, so it sort of evens out (sort of a hollow victory).

He's still been a bit of a disappointment since he played very well at the end of last year, but he has games where he impresses.

Is that 3 in a row on the road now?

Yeah, the Pistons have won the last four road games. Our record between home and the road is virtually identical, IIRC, although it might actually be slightly worse at home. This kind of disparity is really odd, but we seem to play about the same no matter where we are, which is in contrast to last year when we lost four home games total.
