Re: Game Thread #73: Heat vs. Pistons
Good game guys. They let both teams play very physically until the end, when they finally started calling fouls. This just proves how hard it is to win in Detroit. We dominated this game, and like always, you guys got hot at the perfect time to edge out the win. See ya in the ECFs!

Re: Game Thread #73: Heat vs. Pistons
I thought we were outworked most of the game, which is getting to be typical vs. Miami. We should be dominating the Heat with Wade out, but we aren't.

Do you think they'd ever use Nazr on Shaq, because in addition to being out worked, it became pretty obvious that the Pistons had no one to slow him down?

We could bring Elden Campbell out of retirement!

If I remember right, he had almost the same job as Dale Davis except he did it more effectively. That wouldn't be that bad of an idea.

Re: Game Thread #73: Heat vs. Pistons
He's done a fairly good job on Shaq in short stretches (he did well in the Finals against him in '04, although make no mistake, Shaq was still dominant), because he has the bulk to get him further away from the basket. It's just a foot or two away, but it's enough. I'm not really sure what he's up to, though.

Re: Game Thread #73: Heat vs. Pistons
As much has I loved EC's dunk in the 04 finals that was the kill shot, I don't think we need to be talking about him any more lol. I am fine with Shaq scoring against us because the older Shaq isn't going to beat us. We can't let Jason Williams, Posey, and Walker score 20 a piece or near it. Shaq will get his and we shouldn't worry about that.
