I didn't get to see this one, but a friend said that Sheed scored most of his points from the post against Varejao in the fourth and Billups scored six late in the game and made some good passes (which led to a McDyess dunk and a McDyess free throw line trip). LeBron hit most of his free throws except two at the end.

Judging from the boxscores, the bench played like crap. On the plus side, Webber finally had a decent game. We contained LeBron but the rest of the team did pretty well, especially Pavlovic. Looking at the lines, the game probably shouldn't have been that close, but none of the Pistons had a standout line other than McDyess (who I would argue has been our best frontcourt player lately) and maybe Billups.

Not a great game by any stretch of the imagination. But I liked the effort from Dyess in a starting role. Everyone played decent I guess but no one was really standing out to me.

Why was McDyess starting? I missed this game too so I have no idea. Usually JMax starts when a starter goes out.

dyess started in place of Sheed who has an injured index finger? and supposedly this will also help keep Sheed fresh for the homestretch. Maybe they went to Dyess for his size? I am not sure and I am only speculating.

****ed up knee, some headaches that won't go away. When I find a way to get health insurance I'll make up a reason for the pains and go to the hospital. My car was t-boned pretty bad. Just destroyed.
