Re: Would you do this trade?
I would love to see Bobby Simmons, Q Rich, and Steven Hunter play for the Pistons. Don't want to trade Prince though.

Where'd those names come from?
At any rate, Simmons has only really had one year where he was comparable to Prince, Q can be useful off the bench and he takes charges (though he's one year removed from an absolutely terrible season, although a lot of that was back trouble), and Steven Hunter can finish really well (his only offensive move is a dunk), but he doesn't really have post moves and is an awful free throw shooter (hackahunter).

Ah, didn't catch that. While we're at it, we should get Mark Aguirre to come out of retirement, he'd show these young pups what's for.

The only member of the Knicks staff to have lasted 3 head coaches. Assitant Coach Mark Aguirre.

Thats not as bad as it looked at first. Joe D loves Jamal Crawford, thats been known since JC "left" michigan. I don't think thats good return on Rasheed though.

Re: Would you do this trade?
Crawford's shot selection is horrifying sometimes. He certainly can get hot, but he throws up these insane, not even close shots at least three times a game. He probably would fit the scorer off the bench role a lot better than Murray, but he's paid several times more.
Gadzuric is good as an energy guy off the bench, but I don't think he works as a starter. I don't think that's even close to a reasonable offer for Sheed, infuriating as he can be.

I got to see most of JC's michigan career in person and he is a top shelf talent. A know a lot of people rag on him for his shot selection, but when his teams are playing well it usually isn't as big of problem. People love to point out when he takes 20 shots a game but look at whos on the court with him when that happens. In Chicago he played with a terrible team and no one else could score. The Knicks haven't been good while hes been there.
I think if you got him a good situation, he could be a huge asset. Also his contract isn't horrible, he makes a few bucks more then Dice does right now but has 3 more years then Dice left. I would say if Joe D wanted him, I would wait 2 years then go after him. 2 years at his salary wouldn't be too bad for me
