I also forgot about Jason Terry, but I think Billups is better than Terry anyway.
I couldn't agree with you more. Billups plays for Detroit he's not going to make the National team playing for the Pistons until they finally get the props they have coming. Also this was his break out year I think there looking for esablished players. Why is collison on it though....and people wonder how we've lost games before.

1. Jason Kidd
2. Steve Nash
3. Gary Payton
4. Stephon Marbury
5. Sam Cassell
6. Chauncey Billups

Can you honestly say you'd rather have Tony Parker, Gil Arenas, Andre Miller, or Mike Bibby at this point? What about Troy Hudson, Eric Snow, or Jason Williams? I think Billups at this point is better than all the above.
Billups proved to me that he can be a good leader. But his assists per game is pathetically bad for a PG. For this reason, not to mention his defense is terrible (0.9 STL/game, that's pathetic!!!).. I'd rate him behind Kidd, Payton, Marbury, Iverson, Cassell, Nash, Francis, Terry, and Arenas.

He's definitely better than Hudson, Snow, and Williams though.

And I don't see him fading too much. The only PGs that *could* jump ahead of him next year would be Andre Miller (if he bounces back) or Tony Parker. But I'll still put him up there as a lock for the top 10, but in no way is he a top 5, or even top 7 for that matter.
