Rasheed...
OK, Rasheed just went crazy at the end there. I thought it was actually a little disturbing. I think he really crossed the line. He was getting jobbed by the refs, so he decides to go out knocking over Lebron? I suppose it isn't irredeemable but I don't think Rasheed is changing any time soon.
There is a better chance he retires than we trade him... but I don't see him starting next year...
For one thing he will probably be suspended half of next season for this.

I feel you. We lived with it for years. Least you got a championship out of him. Rasheed will be a child forever.

Re: Rasheed...
Yeah, he's an incredibly talented basketball player, but these are the kinds of things that got him tossed out of Portland. He had the game to get the Blazers into the Western Conference Finals a couple of times. There's just some mental thing he has that can really hurt you at the wrong moments.

Re: Rasheed...
I think your over reacting a bit you knew what you were getting when you traded for him, Sheed might get fined but thats all that should happen. The pistons are still a championship level team they just need to upgrade in a few positions don't blow it up like I hear everybody else suggesting

Re: Rasheed...
hey, if he had his head completely screwed on right he never would've been ran out of Portland. every fan in the NBA knows that.
he helped get you a ring, and he helped you contend for several years. that's more than anyone since he left my Blazers has done. (well, aside for Sebastian Telfair, who somehow convinced Danny Ainge he was worth Brandon Roy. major props to Telfair.)
I'd try to show some more sympathy to you Pistons fans, but frankly Shareef Abdur-Rahim and Theo Ratliff didn't exactly work out swimmingly for us.

Re: Rasheed...
As a Blazer fan all I can say is, Rashweed is your problem now.

Re: Rasheed...
hopefully this (the way fans feel about rasheed right now) won't be forgotten but, imo, it probably will be. give it a few weeks and he'll suddenly return to that versatile star who, with a little help from his friends and coaching staff, can dominate games.
the thing is, in reality, this is the kind of player who is more valuable during the offseason than the season itself (i.e. theoretical value > practical value). his habits have unfortunately become so well ingrained in him that it's almost become impossible to see him without them- and it's disturbing. he represents the ol' "what if..." player. this has happened way too often with wallace to believe, even half-heartedly, that it won't/might not happen again... and many times. hopefully teams don't forget how they feel today as we venture further along into the summer- but they will. that's what we do. every year. just watch.
peace

Re: Rasheed...
Sheed is the man! Without emotion, this guy is nothing. You can tell that he really feeds off his emotion. When hes angry, nobody can stop him.

Re: Rasheed...
If I was a Piston's fan I'd be upset with the guys who brought nothing to this series, certainly not with Sheed.

Re: Rasheed...
Hopefully Dumars decides to break up the team a bit.
Sheed already states his destination if he is going to ask for a trade, and thats Chicago.
I'd love to do a PJ Brown, and maybe the 2008 pick for Sheed. Pistons get about 14 million in cap relief there, giving them capspace for next season as well to retool.
It'd be nice to see the Wallaces reunited.

Re: Rasheed...
Warriors would be glad to take him off your hands. In exchange for, say, Stephen Jackson?

Hm, I'm think more like JRich or Davis.
You can then have the all hot-headed team.
