Jack Nies continuing to do Jack Nies things.

That guy HATES the Pistons. He's got some kind of vendetta. He's been so partisan over at least the last 5 years that when he does a game it's actually become part of the pregame scouting report.

He called 2 technical fouls, a very iffy perimeter offensive foul on Chauncey, an incorrect travel on Tayshaun, and a 5-second back to the basket on Rip in the span of about 4 minutes. I honestly don't think I've seen a 5-second call since Barkley retired.

I remember a year or so ago somewhat did the numbers on him and in games he officiates Detroit is outshot at the free throw line by a huge margin and he's issued an enormous amount of techs.

At the half: Lakers - 22 FT's, Pistons - 2 FT's and 2 techs.

Sorry about the scare guys, my bad. Apparently I have some measure of influence on basketball games. I turned it off with us up 15 to watch the rest of LOST. I turned it back on after LOST ended with us down and with the ball, 16 to go, Prince hit a three, we won, and I was able to turn it back off.
