There has been quite a bit of talk about how if this team fails to win the championship this year, they will be classified as one of the greatest example of underachievers ever and to be compared to the Atlanta Braves. What are your thoughts on this? I just know that there are quite a few other teams in the Eastern Conference that wish they could be classified the same way.

Well we would be pretty damn underachieving if we could ammount to only one championship considering the 6 straight ecf's.

I wouldn't say underachievers aleast you got a title.

Iverson fan hit it on the nose. We can't be compared to perennial loser powerhouses like the Atlanta Braves of the 90s/00s and the Indians of the 90s.... We won a title. We're a perennially strong team, we've won a title, but we're clearly not a dynasty level team. One day people will look back and remember them as a strong team that won a title not a lot more unless we can get another.

yea if you guys dident win that championship then you would be a big disappointment.

Braves won one title as well though.

i would rather be rebuilding then be considered a perennial loser anyday.

you dont rebuild forever...... but you can only win for so long.

a perenial loser doesnt have a chance at a championship either. that just means they go far then lose. if your losing you dont get rings obviously.

its the exact opposite, while your rebuilding you do have a future shot at a championship.

They still have a chance at it, and with rebuilding your draft pick could be a bust and then your stuck in the same position.
