This year has improved... his ball-handling is somethin' spectacular and his shot is coming... This kid is definitely a steal!

I think that he is suppose to be in Detriot for next season. When he was drafted he was compared to Ginobili, and if this is true you guys got a huge steal. He will at least make a good back up for Hamilton.

NOt really.. he is not Manu...Carlos is less strong as a scorer..but I think on d he is more consistent..(Manu steals but he is not a superdefender one on one).. They are probably compared for the nationality, for the great athleticism(anyway I think Manu is a little bit more athletic), and for the ball handling skills... Carlos must improve his passing skills... anyway he is 5 years younger than Manu so he has yet upside...At 21 he is ready for the Nba...

Carlos had a monster game against Unicaja in euroleague.
Stats:
Delfino 21 (7/9, 2/2 3p )
in absence of Vujanic he played the point guard.. On defense was good as usual...but on offense was tremendous... Good shots from outside and superb fade away moves after he went to the post... he was aggressive on the rebounds...... i think he is stronger than the hyped Vujanic.

His rights are still owned by Detroit though. It worked out best he wasn't signed we didn't have room on our roster for him and had we signed him he would have been another player we would have had to protect in the expansion draft.

John Hammond was over in Europe scouting out Carlos Delfino and was watching how he's improved so far this year. He also talked to the president of Skipper Bologna to make sure that Carlos will be allowed to play for Detroit next year, without any hitches, and so far it looks good.

I've recently been checking out the internet for European leagues and it certainly is much crazier then it is over here. It's just like FIFA soccer but with bball teams. Hard to keep track of.

of course... In italy u got for example the serie a1,a2,b1,b2,c1,c2, d...(the more u go down, the lower is the level)
and is the same for the other countries... The euroleague is a special league with the strongest teams of the different countries(the ones that have more victories in their leagues.. for example we have 3 teams in the euroleague)...
it's a jungle here in Europe, and all the contract system is different... no trades here!!! and if u are a bad team the relegation in the lower league is towards u!! Oh.. here is so much different... Anyway I like more the Nba

I just found an italian website (none of which I can understand) but was able to locate stats on Carlos Delfino as well as 2 videos on him from the Nov 12th game vs Barcellona.
I figured someone might be interested
www.fortitudo.it/fortitudo/eng/home.htm
Son of a...... I just found the english link on this website after spending an hour trying to understand what the hell I was reading. Figures
Enjoy

I agree with you, that jam was amazing and dunked over that tall center. Now if he could only play that way for us next year on this side of the ocean

he's a SF, 6-8
very gifted athletically, he is an amazing rebounder for his size and a pretty good defender. average passer, can't shoot
good first step, goes to the basket but often can't finish; he lacks in touch
definitely not the greatest worker ever, IMO coach brown won't like him
he'll be playing in detroit or another nba team next year, 99%
P.S. he is reported 21 years old, but GOSSIP it seems he is a bit older, 24 or 25, in argentina the register of births is not particularly reliable
