Here's some good news... I grabbed this little quote from todays' ESPN Insider. The whole page is dedicated to the pistons today and the direction the club is taking. Excellent read.

"As we spoke, Dumars watched Milicic practice from the window in his office. Dumars described numerous practices where Milicic has played well enough against tough defenders like Ben Wallace to earn a spot in the rotation. He still believes that at some point this season, Darko will be not only playing, but potentially working himself into the starting lineup. "

I can't wait to see Darko start (well I'll be happy to see him play first) heeh

The thing I'd be worried about if I were you guys is that rotting on the bench like this could undermine his confidence. One thing that stood out about Darko when you drafted him is that he didn't seem afraid and knew what he was coming here to do. If he was only getting 10 minutes a game he'd still be getting experience and his confidence wouldn't suffer but the fact that he's been getting like none and got excited about playing 6 minutes is bad. I mean the kid was a 2nd overall pick you have to develop him, that's a big investment....also I think he's gonna be a star but this is only hurting him right now not helping him.

Only thing I'm worried about is him getting full of himself...

What happens when 20,000 people are chanting "Put Darko In" and "Go Darko" every minute. I would get full of myself. He kinda showed it, pushing people around.

Still, 5 min: 3 points, 2 assists, 1 rebound, 1 block. Could be worse

So in those 5 minutes he played relatively well and should have been rewarded with 5 more the next game, instead he's gotten like 3 more DNP coaches decisions....what a waste

can you imagine not being able to get off the bench against the hawks? every time dumars opens his mouth he has nothing to say but good things about darko and then the kid doesnt play. i wonder if there is any disagreement betwee coach and gm there. george karl was run out of seattle finally because he wouldnt play rashard lewis and other youngsters.stay tuned.
