Darvin Ham in starting lineup...
Saw this interesting article in the Detroit News and am a little disapointed. Okur is being removed from the starting lineup as well as Prince and bring replaced with either Zelly or Campbell as C and Ham as the SF. We seem to be moving back to the team of last year where our main problem was that we only had 3 of the 5 starters who could score.
I'm just afraid that if we move back to this lineup we're gonna suffer even more offensively since we don't have the bench that we did last year. The only good news is that Prince will now play against 2nd tier SF's and should put up some better numbers.

LB STRIKES AGAIN
I hope Memo doesn't leave because of Brown.

Well if Memo does leave (and I really hope he doesn't cause he looks like he could turn into an amazing post player in a couple of years), then we could potentially sign a really nice free agent since Joe D. has been freeing up tons of space to sign Memo.
Here's a small list of free agents that I remember.
Kenyon Martin
Shareef Abdur-Rahim
Jamaal Magloire
Jamal Crawford
Steve Nash (would be really sweet)
Rasheed Wallace
Brent Barry

I think a change in the lineup is a good thing. We weren't getting much out of the starters, but I do have to question changing the lineup after a win. I don't necessarily think benching Prince is the answer, but if he is still getting starter minutes, then it really doesn't matter. Playing Ham isn't going to do much damage IMO, since we were not scoring a boatload of points anyway. We need someone with some "anger" and emotion playing on the court, it's one of the things that has been lacking his year.

Well Darnavian, there are a couple of guys on that list that won't be free agents next year: Jamaal Magliore (Who just signed an extension this summer) and Shareef Abdur-Rahim. (Who will have one year left after this)

You can probaly cross off Nash and Crawford as we don't need those positions. And Kenyon Martin since he probaly wouldn't come here and wants a max deal.
That leaves Rasheed and Brent Barry.

Hmm, I guess the place where I grabbed the information was way out of date. I noticed that they still were showing that Kevin Garnett was a free agent and I know he signed an extension. Anyone have a good spot which shows all of the free agents coming up at the end of this year?
As for Nash, I had to put him on the list just because he's Canadian and I would love to see him play for my favorite team. Well maybe he'll come up to Toronto but then that's wishful thinking as well :P

I'd rather see Elden Campbell start than Zelly. Okur back to being the first big man off the bench.
Don't really care about Ham. He sucks, but it could be worse. He could be Michael Curry. Plus, I like the idea of bringing Tay off the bench. We need some guys off the bench that can bring some firepower, because what we have isn't working. Also, it would hopefully mean no more Fowlkes.

Yup Fowlkes will be placed on the injure list to make room for Ham

I don't know if Darko should be starting, I would rather see him play backup minutes at C / PF until he gains a lot more confidence. Start him off with 10-12 minutes a game playing against bench players and move him into the starting lineup if he does really well.

According to Realgm.com Jamaal Magloire has 3 years remaining on his contract.
