He was pretty far out, but he had a very good look at the basket.

I'll let them take the last shot 7+ feet behind the 3-point line any day.
And whether or not Haslim was fouled is kind of irrelevant considering it wasn't a shooting foul, Miami didn't loose the ball, and they had plenty of time for another play.

The refs were late with the whistle all game tonight, but you can't say that hack was the only bad call.

Good point. I looked at some replays on ESPN and it looked like Corliss got ball first, then a little arm. Not a foul in my book.

Box Score
I really can't pick my personal player of the game between Chauncey, Prince, and Corliss. They all had their different moments. Tay in the beginning, Corliss in the 4th, and Chauncey at the end. I can say the play of the game was Ben Wallace's block on Lamar Odom.
Tayshaun - 24 points, 6 rebs, 2 stls
Corliss - 17 points, 4 rebs
Billups - 23 points, 5 assts

Corliss knocked the ball out of bounds, whether he got the ball or not, he didn't hold back a shot.
And when you say that cost the Heat the game you are basing it on three very strong assumptions:
1) Haslim,a 74% free throw shooter would have made both free throws. And that's based on the assumption that he would have went to the line because I thought Detroit had one to give.
2) The Pistons wouldn't have scored again with the 5-7 seconds left on the clock.
3) Miami would have won the game in the second OT.
Bad call or not, there is absolutely no way you can say it decided the outcome of the game.

it was shooting. His arms were trying to go up. When 2 arms around u, its hard to get them up. I hate good games decided by things like this. It was a great game and should of been called the right way. Should be in dbl OT..wuteva...im just pissed as u could probably tell

On the positive side of things it's good to see the Pistons pulling out these close games, especially on the road. We are becoming better and better as games come to an end.

Well I finally pryed the computer away from my brother...WOW. What a game.
Back and forth, but our big guys really pull it out again. Chauncey was great all of the 4th quarter and beyond (besides his GW 3 pt. attempt...). Then Rip was huge with that GW shot. And of course Ben, that block was one of the top plays of the year. I thought there was no chance for him to get it, but he amazes me every single night.
Nice to see the re emergence of Taysheezy, he was struggling like none other, but a HUGE game for him. I really like that we're pulling out all of these close/OT games lately.
Big game tomorrow against Cleveland...and I'll be there

In the last week Ben has had huge blocks on Duncan, Garnett, Carter, and now Odom in the closing minutes (or in Carters case seconds) of the game.
When you think clutch players you think of guys who can score at the end of games. Ben Wallace is one of the most clutch players in the league and routinely wins games without the ball in his hands. That's pretty amazing if you ask me.
