The more I think about it the more likely the pistons are just to let him walk during the offseason. This deal cleared up enough room for resigning memo and hopefully Darko will be improved enough next year to play consistent minutes. The pistons didn't give up much especially considering they got sheed.

I believe so... I remember hearing that Rasheed's agent wanted New York to acquire him because the would be able to go over the cap to re-sign him and be able to negotiate a contract extension.
