Darko is ****en massive. It looks like he doesn't even care when he is out on the floor. Please tell me it is different when he gets real solid important minutes.
Pistons did great in the fourth. Dunleavy is a wiener, I say this because of all those intentionals, that was getting annoying. We executed and rebounded well but their were a couple times that it looked like LA might come back. After Brand hit that jumper (he is awesome at that) and the lead was cut to 6 had me nervous for a bit. All in all, good game.

Rip and Rasheed played horrible in the first half but both picked it up in the second...when we finally started playing defense we took over. Rasheed didn't even play good d today, Elton tore him up and was unstoppable until we put Ben on him.

It was definitely good to see us play better as the game winded down as opposed to playing worse, which had been the trend up until this game. Let's hope we can keep it up.

you could tell in a minute and a half of pt?, pretty observant. i have always contended that if you sit for 2 1/2 hours its not easy to crank it up all of a sudden. good win though.

Well, by looking at his facial expressions especially when he was shooting his free throws and after his airball three pointer when play was stopped. You can tell that he isn't having fun and having fun is what makes players want to care about the game. If they dont care then they won't have fun and even though I have heard from you guys that he has been bummed out because of playing time I would assume a player would have been slightly excited to get in the game. Especially when there isn't any pressure to succeed, go out and have fun. On the other hand I do know from experience that sitting on the bench can take its tole on a player and frustration builds up. Mind you, Darko sits on the bench with millions of dollars knowing that he is the future of the team. That's got to count for something.

I've noticed similar things. It just doesn't seem like he is fitting in that well right now. Maybe that can be attributed to being in a new place, I don't know. But, every game he sits in that same spot on the floor rather emotionless. He doesn't seem to be having fun or cheering on the rest of the Pistons on the floor. And for example, after yesterday's game he just simply walks off the court not seeming to acknowledge his teammates or the other team. I hope this is just his frustration due to minimal playing time.

he never looks happy i agree, he comes from a war torn country, who the heck knows what went on over there. i remember seeing a piece on him before the draft and his mother said she worried about him because he was a real sensitive kid. hey, bill russell played a whole career with the celtics and i never saw him crack a smile, some people are just more serious than others. one would think at his age with the kind of bread he's making that life would be great. i think in his case he is very dissapointed at the lack of interest the coaches seem to have in him. i am sure he would have rather gone to a crappy team and played more. i really think because of the lack of interest in accelarating his career that the pistons run the risk of losing this kid. but thats what the brain trust there gets paid the big bucks for, to figure those things out. i just would like for once for larry brown to say something good about the kid and stop drooling all over rasheed wallace.

There is no way he can leave the Pistons unless we choose to let him go so we really can't "loose" him.
All will be forgotten next season once he starts getting some real PT.

i am thinking on the lines of his agent demanding a trade or him just going back to yugoslavia. its probably not going to happen. do you actually think L.B. is thinking of giving darko real pt next year? i dont.

I honestly don't think LB cares if Darko plays or not. If he is ready to play he will, if he's not he won't. It has nothing to do with LB "liking" Darko, he just wants the best guys on the floor.

i agree 100% ,coaches just want to win games, fans and gm's look towards winning titles, i'll repeat what i have said before, the pistons win a title if and when darko leads them there, they arent good enough to do it without him.
