Chauncey Billups
I think it's time he gets a thread.
Anybody else notice how much better he's been playing since the trade?
15 points 7.4 assists 4.5 boards 45% from the field
He is playing better defense and most importantly, he is getting everybody involved on offense and has had no problelm with shooting less to do so.
I think he's finally getting what LB has been teaching and he's been great.

It's most def time he got some shine. I feel much comfortable with Billups scoring in the 15, 16 point range than we he had to get 20+ for us to have a chance to win. This should erase any doubts people had about his ability to rack up assists and most importantly lead a team.

No doubt. Last night for example he scored just 6 points. But his presence was definately felt as a playmaker with 12 assists. With the trade for Rasheed Wallace, alot of the scoring burden came off of Chauncey and now he's able to concentrate on doing other things to make the team better. Plus, he's still putting up 15 a game. Good to see his shooting numbers coming around as well, I think that too has to do with having other options and taking some pressure off. This is they type of leadership we need heading into the playoffs.
Let's go Stones!

I completly agree....He showing that he can distrube the ball along with good shooting though it's nice have Sheed add another 16 points a game to lift the scoring burden from rip and c-bill. Plus we still know he is clutch. By far excellent player and great year.....

Absolutely. I remember, I think it was against Denver a couple of weeks ago when we REALLY crushed them, Billups only had single digits when many people on the Pistons had double. But Billups had like, twelve assists. It was great. Thing with Chauncey is, you can't rely on him as your #1 or #2 scorer. We were never going to win a title that way, cos the dude is simply too streaky. But with Rasheed..
But c'mon. C-Bill? The first letter-last name thing is going too far. I'm just playing.

I prefer C-Note, because he's money in the bank.

It's nice to see he can get some assists and rebounds. Before he was much more one dimensional, 'Sheed must have really helped him.

C-bill is da man, it was funny though at the beginning of the year when pacer fans were saying that they were gonna compare him to j.tinsley. I was so mad that people were saying it but, c-bill is showing everyone up and is producing points that everyone thought that he could, like assi, rbs, fast break points and leadership

He's helped by taking the scoring load off of Chauncey. Before Sheed, Chauncey HAD to score 20 points for the Pistons to win, now he can just sit back and make plays for others and let the offense come to him. He doesn't have to worry about scoring, which lets him do everything else better.

In this stretch of the last couple games he is better than Tinsley but earlier, Tinsley was definately superior.

So earlier this year when Chauncey was averagin 20 a game and Tinsley was burried on the bench Tinsley was the far superior player?
I know what you're trying to do. I believe it's called baiting.
Here's a little analogy for you:
PacersguyUSA is to Jamal Tinsley as Mattsanity is to Alvin Williams.
It's obnoxious. Stop.

You wen't back a little too far there fellow, or a not far enough. He was better from when he started starting to a couple games ago. Also last season.
I haven't really seen Mattsanity post about Alvin Williams, however, I do think Alvin Willimas is a pretty good player. At least last season, because I haven't followed him this season because he isn't on my fantasy team this season.
And please end this here. I'm sick of you guys starting with me. We get the point, you think Billups is better than Tinsley.
