This is our first time seeing Rasheed play as a Piston, and I think this is Detroit's first time seeing Hughes and Arenas play together.

Why isn't Chauncey Billups in the starting line up?

It could be a long night for you guys inside if Brown doesn't play, but then again it'll probaly be a short night for Ben and Sheed up front.

Sprained his ankle against Orlando a couple of game ago. He's out for rest and precautionary reasons.

Kind of sucks we don't get to see the Billups-Arenas matchup this year. Gil was hurt the first 3 games and now Chauncey is out. Too bad because they went crazy against each other last year with Chauncey hitting the game winning 3 in their last meeting.

No Billups, no Kwame -- matchups aren't quite as fun as when I first saw the game on the schedule. No matter, as I always love seeing former Washington guys play, and I get a whopping three of them in this one.

Wouldn't Lindsey Hunter start and Mike comes off the bench?

What's up with Kwame??

Remember that Mike James has played for St.Pölten in Austria (the country I'm from!) a few years ago and now he is playin' in the NBA...Unbelievable, he evolved enormous!

"It's going to be too exciting to play alongside J.R. He loves to play above the rim and I love to put it above the rim for him to catch it. I'm just excited because he's a young, up-and-coming player just like myself."

He had an ankle injury like 2-3 weeks back, he reaggrivated it a couple of games ago. He's missed the past two, and we haven't heard anything about his staus for this game.

I think if Washington stays healthy next year they could be a candidate for most improved team...with Arenas, Hughes, Stack, plus a more mature Jarvis Hayes and Kwame Brown along with a high draft pick, that's a solid group. Tonight should be a different story, however...
