Thats the year they beat you in the finals right? If I remember correctly didn't austin croshere play great in the finals for you guys? I really thought he was going to become a good player in this league. I do remember rooting for you guy FWIW.

Yes, we lost to the Lakers that year 4-2. We beat them pretty badly one game. We could have taken it to 7 but I think Reggie missed a last second shot or something. Croshere played good, hence his big contract. Al Harrington and Reggie Miller are the only remaining Pacers from that team.

Reggie missed a last second 3 but he didn't release it in time nor did it have any affect because we were down 5. Jonathan Bender was also on that team if my memory is correct.
