I have to say it is the GLVC with kentucky weslayan and USI. Any other good ones you guys can think of?

The GLIAC is the strongest conference in the land with the likes of Michigan Tech, Northern Michigan and Findlay.

True that is a strong conference. But you only see Weselyan or Southern Indiana winning that title for Div. II. But maybe that is all I notice? Isnt Wayne State in that conference too?

Yes, Wayne State is in the GLIAC. Gannon and Mercyhurst are having great years as well. This next two weeks should be really interesting. NMU has won 7 straight and plays arch-rival Michigan Tech on Monday for 1st place in the North Division.


A lot of people don't know this but Wayne State is the largest D-II school in the country with over 30,000 students. In the next two years they will be transitioning to D-I in all sports except for football which will be D-IAA. They are already D-I in mens and womens hockey.
