I think McRob plays the bridesmaid better than the bride, on Indiana's aau team he played off Greg Oden and they were dominant, i think he actually could find a nice niche and be a piece to the puzzle on a winning team but he doesnt seem to be a go to guy. Where that gets you drafted isnt quite clear but too many times people are trying to draft #1 options and there arent that many out there, even in this draft.
No worries: 'I'll score more as the season goes along,' Josh McRoberts insists. (AP)
If McRoberts is a frustrating superstar -- and he is -- perhaps the fault isn't his. Perhaps the fault is ours.
"I'm not changing," he said after No. 7 Duke overwhelmed George Mason 69-53 on Saturday. "I like how I play the game."
"He could be really different when we add the stuff we think we need to add," said Krzyzewski, who indicated he would be giving the 9-1 Blue Devils something of a makeover over the next 10 game-free days.
McRoberts was never a superstar. He is a role player. He knows it, that's all.

First off you can count on one hand how many superstars there are in the nba, the rest are all role players. He does pass the ball better than most bigmen so that's a plus, as for where he goes in the draft who knows but i think you're better with role players than wanabe stars who dont pan out.
McRoberts is not going to be a quality starting PF in the NBA. I think that much is obvious. He will be a decent bench guy, but he doesn't command respect in the post and I don't think he will be better than Fazekas as a pro (because at least Fazekas has the ability to be a turn and face shooter at the PF spot).
When all we trump is McRoberts passing ability, that doesn't say much for him, because he's not going to be a point "Power Forward."

He does not handle the ball as well as Diaw and that is a fact. Not to mention, that Diaw is in one of the most tailor made situations a person can play in.
