Magic Johnson isn't a bad comparison. I don't think Josh can handle the ball quite as well as Magic, but he is about as good of a passer. He probably wouldn't want to handle PG duties full time but he could do it when called upon.
LOL im still tryin to figure out if MoscowHeel is serious
ey btw are you from Moscow? i was born there
...
anyway
I like McRoberts, he is a good all around player and he is no go to guy no 20 point scorer but its not like his NBA team will ask to do that
and i think he is a very very underrated defender, he is probably the best defensive player in the ACC(big men) outside of Sean Williams of course williams has been kicked off the team
i think he is a better than Hansbrough, even on the college level
Hansbrough just gets force fed a lot and gets a lot of calls that go his way
this is from Yahoo! Sports...
Josh McRoberts: Last week people were talking about Duke losing four games in a row and the possibility of the Blue Devils not making the tournament. Josh McRoberts clearly didn't take all the talk to heart and has responded to the chatter as if it were a challenge. At 6-foot-10 and 240 pounds, the sophomore has been asked to score, rebound, pass, defend and bring the ball up against the press. If that's not enough, he, like Acie Law, was asked to change his personality and become more vocal – become one of the team leaders and its go-to guy. I, for one, can't imagine where Duke would be without Josh, and I'm sure Coach Mike Krzyzewski doesn't even like to consider that scenario.
Here is his stats in the last 10 ACC games i didnt count the Wake, NC St and Miami games cuz those teams arent on the level of the rest of the ACC
Guys I know it's easy to hate on a guy because he's white, but we're here in the 21st century lets try to look beyond his skin color. This guy is clearly a future HOFer.
Why is McRoberts still considered a lottery pick in this deep draft by draftexpress? Does anyone think he has All-Star potential.

There is a tension, peculiar to basketball, between the interests of the team and the interests of the individual. The game continually tempts the people who play it to do things that are not in the interest of the group.

You said it - potential. Dick Vital doesn't say much worth listening too, but he hit it on the head - McRoberts teases you. Every so often, he'll do something incredible, making you think, "Wow, this guy could be awesome." And then he'll disappear for the next 15 minutes of the ball game.

If Oden and Durant don't come out, he'll probably be a lottery pick. But he's not worth it. He really should stay in school and learn to play in the post and mid-range more efficiently. Although, I must say his defense has surprised me.
And even though I root for Duke, I won't be all that broken up if he does leave and the Blue Devils sign Patrick Patterson to replace him. For all Josh's talents, he still makes a lot of bone-head plays at the worst times. And I always see him scolding his teammates, jerking and pushing people around when it was his bad decision making that lead to a turnover. He's just not a leader on the court.
