Hawes looks like a Stiff, no way in hell would Phoenix for example with Atlanta's pick take this guy over Brandan Wright, Julian Wright, Joakim Noah, Al Horford or Bill Walker.

If they do get to use that pick it will be #4 or later and i dont think they would be looking for another forward, i think they would probably go after a Chase Budinger who would certainly be a fan favorite down there, or is he a stiff too?
In my opinion I dont know why the Suns would take another athletic PF, when they have Marion/Diaw/Amare. If they drafted Hawes, could you imagine what Amare would do with a 7'0 skilled big man? It makes more sense to draft Hawes, because he can get up and down the floor and gives the Suns a legit scoring option in the post (besides Amare) and a true center.
Yeah, teams prefer bigmen that can score and nothing else over bigs that can defend, block shots, and rebound.
Is there anything that Noah brings to the table that Sean Williams doesn't? Besides being less athletic, I mean.

I don't think they'll get a chance to draft Brandan Wright, he'll be gone by 3.

Wright will probably measure in at close to 6'11. 1 inch makes a true center? I could care less, Wright has more talent, I take him over Hawes anytime. Would you rather have Amare and Kevin Garnett or Amare and Brad Miller.

So you are telling me Brandan Wright is going to grow 2.5 inches by June? I think its obvious Wright fits in better right now as a PF in the NBA. I dont think the Suns takin Wright would be a bad move at all, I just think Hawes gives the Suns a true center. I cant say Brandan Wright is a true center.
Wright has more potential, but Hawes has the better low post game so far. Wright is also no where near KG. I woud love to see Wright step out and hit 17 foot jumpshots like KG does. Wright has a lot of potential, but Hawes is closer to Brad Miller then Wright is to KG.
I guess fact of the matter is, if the Suns are in position to pick between Wright and Hawes, the West better watch out.
Hawes isn't athletic enough for the Suns. I bet a lot of money if it is between Wright, Noah, Hawes, Horford, Walker, JWright. The Suns are definately not taking Hawes.
Wright measured 6'10 as far as I know, I am pretty sure he will measure a little over 6'10 in shoes at the draft camp.
Ummm I am UNC fan but Wright having more potential is debatable. Wright cant shoot from 5 feet out. Hawes is a 7 footer that can shoot from college 3 point range already. His foot work puts bigs in the NBA to shame already. And his passing game in the post is way advanced. Wright is more athletic but that isnt really saying much. There are lot of guys that can jump in the NBA but doesnt really amount to much. Oh did I mention Hawes is 19, we are talking about a very special prospect here

For the Suns system, B.Wright, J.Wright and Noah will be perfect, but dont get it wrong though, none of those players are going to be better than Hawes.
Kurt Thomas isnt athletic enough for the Suns system either. The reason he is on the team is for a reliable low post threat and someone who can defend the post. I think Hawes could easily play Thomas' minutes once he is comfortable in the system.

Oh sorry but I doubt the Suns invest a lottery pick in a strong draft like that on a career situational bench player to replace Kurt Thomas.
