Greg Oden is a 7 foot 260 pound Freshman Center for Ohio State. While he is currently recovering from a wrist injury, he is expected to be the first pick in the 2007 draft. Defensively, he is already a beast and a year in the Ohio State weight room will only make him stronger. Offensively, he has moves, but needs to develop a better and more consistent shot.

you know what i was thinking the same oden is going to be a bust.....a bust in the sense that they are comparing him to bill russell. please......

how many bill russells have come since he retired?
how many Dr. J's have there been?
how many larry birds are there?
how many michael jordans have come and gone in this league?

there will never be another player that will do for the game what these have done.....as much as people like to compare players at the end of the day everybody has there own style or own game.......

Oden will be a good player.....maybe emeka okafor like if he has the work ethic....but bill russell and "the next great big man"?.......dont think soo IMO
