I agree with both of you on Kevin Martin and Josh Howard. I was thinking Josh Howard when I made the last post. I think a mix between both of them, with less explosiveness/quickness is a good comparison.
Kevin Martin is a very good NBA player. Efficient as all get out.

Marcus Williams is a shooter he isnt going to get benched for selfish play, if that were the case there wouldnt be enough players to put on the court for a lot of these teams.

You are correct about Chase being tentative but it had nothing to do with Williams. Also Bud may be the best pro prospect they have but right now he isnt the best player on the team.

Sorry, but I'm taking DeCourcy's word over yours. I can count on one hand the basketball writers I respect and he is one of them. Marcus' selfish play was impacting his teammates.

Compare the Field Goal Attempts between Marcus and Chase. Especially the 4 games from WSU to USC. Tentative play exacerbated by Marcus' desire to be the man.

I've met him and talked to him. Even before I did that, the thing I respect about him is that he doesn't just repeat conventional wisdom and actually researches information. The vast majority of national writers don't research and will just repeat whatever they've heard.

Decourcy may be right but i doubt it, if you want others involved you talk to your pt guard, you arent going to come down on a shooter for shooting, and take that a step further you arent going to bench him. Of course you're entitled to your own opinion.
