I wish Horford came out last year, because the Hawks would have selected him instead. Hard not to like him.

Horford had his first 'off' game last night with 7 points and 2 boards. He didn't play much because of foul trouble, but more importantly, Chattanooga threw double, and sometimes, triple teams at him. As you can see, Chattanooga paid for that because Florida's long range shooters, namely Humphrey, had big games.
Horford is a beast. I love guys who dunk EVERYTHING.
There was some serious talent on the floor in that Florida-Kansas game. If you are an NBA junkie, I would suggest TiVoing some college games. Fla-Kan was like watching an NBA game. The game was above the rim.
if i had to rank the 4 pro prospects out there i would go with;
1. Noah
2. Arthur
3. Wright
4. Horford
all 4 have a shot at the lottery but there are only 14 spots and some people are going to slide this year.
There is no way Noah is a better pro prospect then Julian Wright. Id rank them like this
Arthur
Wright/Horford
Noah
Noah got majorly exposed last night and not for a decent run late in the game, would have played one of the worst games every for a concencous top 5 pick in a heavy draft.

You need to watch more games, if you think that was the worse game by a top 5 pick. He was getting triple teamed most of the game.

Don't fret...being down on Noah is the cool thing to do these days.
Noah is good and is going to be good. He is very long, athletic, great shotblocker, and can get up and down the floor with the guards. He'll have his place in the NBA. Horford has more big man tools and is much stronger and able to play physically.
You have to love Noah's passion though.

Horford is one freak of an athlete, but I don't see how anybody would want to take him over Noah. He failed to get a body on Julian Wright on multiple occasions in the first half, and was systematically absused by Darrell Arthur late in the second. He forced his offense, and really hasn't improved much in terms of skill or feel for the game in the past 2.5 years. I like the guy, but taking him over Noah would be a mistake. People are talking up how poorly Noah played, but he played better defense and was way more active than Horford last night.

The game was kind of on in the background for me; I got that Julian Wright was shooting uncharacteristically well and that everyone else played pretty average considering there weren't many mismatches, but who in the hell is Darell Arthur? Two guys just ranked him ahead of Wright and Horford and I don't think I've ever seen his name before. I see from the box score that he played only 16 minutes, although put up an impressive 19-9.

Arthur is one of the most impressive freshmen in the nation. There's a group of about 7 or 8 freshmen this year that are unreal, he's one of them.
Yeah that's funny. I see that he's pretty consensus top 15 for the class, maybe top 10 depending on where you look, but I just didn't hear about him, he wasn't hyped like other guys, but his talent looks to be as good as anyone short of Oden.

Triple teamed?
good try at attempting to save some face for Noah after a pretty bad game played. Anytime he was matched up against anyone in the post (offence) he would either turn the ball over or show his lack of low post game.
for him to be ranked #2 behind Oden, that performance should definitely have his stock take a major hit.
Julian Wright and Arthur looked far more impressive and both look to be better pro prospects to that of Noah.
