Corey Brewer is a 6 foot 8 inch wing player in his Junior year for Florida. He is a very good perimeter defender with an improving outside shot. His biggest weakness is his ball handling which limits his ability to get by defenders.
Currently at #10 in the DE mock and #24 in the nbadraft.net mock
i really like to watch him play i think he could be very good in the NBA.... but like u said shot needs to improve.... kinda like ronnie brewer from last yr
The nickame drunken dribbler truly fits him. I wont make any assessments on him yet, I thought he played really well last year and could have gone in the late 20s if he declared. I'll wait and see what improvement he made on his game this year. Most noticeably his jumper and ball handling skills.
For those that don't understand how important Corey is to Florida. Florida lost to Florida State in a game in which Corey didn't play because he had Mono.

I don't think it really would've made a difference, personally. Walter Hodge really stepped up in his absence and was stroking it all night, as was Taureen Green. The Gators just got beat inside by Al Thornton, and couldn't respond with Noah or Horford, both of which were shutdown pretty much for the whole night.
Corey Brewer is improving his draft stock a lot lately. He can do anything you ask him to on the basketball court. He has all the physical tools that you want in an NBA SF and his defensive presence is above average for a wing player. If he can get more consistent with this shot, which I believe he can he can really help out the right team on the next level. IMO he is third in NBA potential in the SEC right behind his two teamates Horford and Noah.

I like the Augmon/Posey comparisons. Everybody can use a lock-down swing defender.

Really like his game at the next level, dont doubt he's coming out and expect off his stellar play of late he will be the first wing player takent after Kevin Durant, reminds me of Josh Howard(certainly at the same stage). Single digit pick.
I like him alot, he plays alot like Shane Battier, he's a though defender, with an excellent store, he's got good lenght, and a long wingspan. I don't think he'll be an all star, but he'll be that starter, that guards the best player on a team every night, and every team that want to contend for a championship need those.
I really think Brewer's going to translate real nicely into the NBA. He's just a great defender and has real nice athleticism, who really just needs more consistency on his shot. I'm positive that he's going to thrive in workouts too. Stock is definitely increasing, a top 10 pick is a definite possibility.

His shot is actually pretty decent. He really needs to work on his ball handling though, especially when slashing to the basket. His handle is a little too high and can get quite reckless.
That's one thing most people can always agree will translate from college ball to NBA ball, good defense. And he's got the size to match it. Seems like a less potent (offensively) Tayshuan Prince to me. Long lanky arms, good defense, not a bad shot.

Very good player, but all this top 3 hype is downright silly. At this point, he's a good finisher that can hit a spot-up college 3(who really knows about his range?) and plays great defense. However, if he's really under 180 pounds, he'll struggle to guard a lot of NBA wings. Either way, too many question marks for me to take until the second half of the lottery.

I don't see anything here saying he's top 3. Only real projection I saw was that he has a possible chance of being top 10. Which I think he does as well.

I didn't mean on this board, I just meant in general. Tony and Wilbon on PTI both said that his stock rose that high, and many posters on other boards are saying it too. I really don't see what he did to raise his stock, he did the same things in the tournament that he's been doing for years.
