Rodney Stuckey
He's a sophomore who plays for Eastern Washington and is going under the radar because of the small school he's going to. He was recruited heavily out of high school by Arizona, Washington and various other Pac-10 schools, but ended up signing with Eastern Washington because of bad grades and low SAT scores. Since then, he has worked hard and even made Dean's list at Eastern. His team beat my high school's team in the state semifinals in 2004 (a game that he won in the final seconds of double overtime, and ended up winning state that year). Some say he was the best player in the state that year, a 04' class that included Marvin Williams, Martell Webster, Marcus Williams (Arizona), Terrence Williams and Jon Brockman. He is an athletic freak with great ball-handling abilities. He's getting overlooked still, but I feel that he'll be a lottery pick for sure.
Here are his freshman stats:
ppg 24.2, apg 4.1, rpg 4.8, spg 2.2, FG% 49%,
Sophomore stats thus far:
ppg 26.7, apg 3.8, rpg 4.0, spg 1.7, FG% 46%

Re: Rodney Stuckey
I just caught a replay of Eastern Washington/Washington on Fox Sports, this was the first time I've seen him play.
My first impression was that this guy is just good. Showed a lot of different things: good speed, great body control, great 1-on-1 and slashing ability, creative around the hoop, can hit the three, wasn't afraid to get under the boards, and also had a couple of fantastic tight passes in traffic. He also seems to exude confidence, which you like to see from talent. I get the feeling if he were playing for North Carolina, he'd be a superstar in college.

Re: Rodney Stuckey
I keep scanning the 10,000 college games on every day so I can watch this guy again.
The one time I saw him last year, he looked awesome.
He doesn't look like a college star with no potential, either. He looks like a guy who can physically compete with pros.
Another cool player I want to keep a close eye on.

Good luck finding him on T.V. again unless his team wins the conference tournament miraculously and get into the tourney. I've seen him 3 times this year and watched him since high school. He's an absolute stud, scouts are aware of him, trust me.

Re: Rodney Stuckey
He's already showing glimpses of what will be a good pro career. Billups successor perhaps?

Re: Rodney Stuckey
he actually reminds me a lot of Billups, minus the outside shot of course.. although he is probably better at getting to the basket.

Re: Rodney Stuckey
He plays tough like Billups, and has that swagger. His game is much like Dwyane Wade though. I love this kid.
