I'm thinking he could be a good second round sleeper he's a senior but really an unknown quantity still. He's a late bloomer who has really only played 2 seasons hidden behind all the talent of that '05 UNC team. He's a good defender with great length and athleticism and he can really get hot in a hurry. However a lot of times he doesn't do anything for a long period of time it's like he's not even looking for the ball.
I think he'll end up going 45-undrafted. He's a decent package for a pro SF - good size, good athleticism, and decent skills. He did have four years at the best prospect incubator in college (UNC), which does help, but he was inconsistent. He's a fringe roster guy, but if he works hard, he can find a place in the league.
Ultimately, I think he'll battle his ex-teammate Jawad Williams for the D-League MVP next year.

He is a more talented player than Noel, and Noel got drafted. Reyshawn's biggest problem is that he is way too passive. The guy has NBA type skills, good size, good shot, good athleticism, but just way too passive.

Right, Noel only got drafted because he tested out as the #1 overall athlete at the draft camp.

I agree with that but I think it was coached into him to play defense and not ask for the ball. He should never have gone to UNC.
Reyshawn is very talented, but he doesn't seem to have a good grasp on all the facets of the game. which is troubling, considering he's almost 23. I think he'll get drafted for sure, but I don't think he'll be in the L very long.
The guy is a pretty poor passer and has awful ball-handling skills. But still, he is an athlete that can finish and shoot 3's. I like Stephen Jackson as a comparison, maybe a Mo Evans type as well.

his offensive game, at least his jump-shot, is much more polished than evans. their b-ball IQ, or lack there of, is definately comparable. I think the stephen jackson comparisons are acurate, mabye a pre-surgery devean george.
I like the Stephen Jackson comparison too, but I think Terry is a bit more athletic. He's surely not a gunner like Jackson though. I predict him being a mid-2nd round pick to possibly being undrafted.

I think some team will take a late round flyer on him. Hopefully, he can shoot well enough to stick with a team becuase that is the only reason he is going to get drafted, his shooting.
Definitely nothing wrong with Terry's ballhandling skills. Everything with Reyshawn is mental. He has all the basketball skills you could ask for. Size at 6'8, leaping ability with 37+ inch vertical, length, ballhandling, and shooting skills. He has also turned himself into a very adept defender. Unfortunately some games he just checks out mentally and there's not much you can do. He has turned his game up a notch in the tourney so far with several cold blooded late game shots to keep UNC in the game or put teams away.
He has really worked hard to get where he's at. He didn't belong in the ACC his first two years, he was absolutely clueless in every facet. He worked on all areas of his game and has turned himself into atleast a 2nd round pick.
If a coach can keep his head in the game and season, they will have a steal.
The only thing holding back Terry is himself, its all mental with dude. This year he has not been confident(oddly enough dude is clutch down the stretch), last year he was all-acc. Confidence is huge, if you aint confident in games, you will never perform. The guy can shoot, pass(third best passer on the team), defend, great athlete(Mccants said he was the best he saw), and has a good handle for a SF. This year he was wayy to passive. He will be those types of players that blow up in the league, if he gets right mentally which is a huge IF. I hope he does cause he is a great dude.
I didn't understand Roy and Reyshawns relationship this year. Rey would not be involved in the offense for a huge stretch in the game and then Roy would feed Rey the ball down the stretch in games. I really did not undertsand that, if you are so confident dude can score why not go to him earlier in games? Rey also has a problem of standing around too much and watching in the beginning of games too, but Roy as a coach should eat at him for doing so.....
