Heard the same. If you drink it with the "perfect pour" then its supposedly great. I've bought Guinness with the "widget" inside to supposedly make the perfect pour, but to me, its just another strong dark beer. I've had that before. Bear in mind this is coming from someone whos never travled, so Im judging by my Canadian expeience. Only place I've been other than Canada is the States. Hawaii once, Houston once, and Idaho once, although I've joined a crew who go there every year so I plan more trips. Regardless, as much as Ill talk up Canadian beer, Coors OG is the best stock beer I've drank, and they dont sell it in Canada Frost brewed liner bro, frost brewed liner.

Re: What are you drinking?
The widgets help make store-bought Guinness taste somewhat fresh, but it's still nothing like getting it out of the tap in Dublin.
How do Canadians feel about Labatt Blue? That used to be one of my beers of choice in college when I couldn't spend too much, but didn't want the ultra-cheap crap either.

Labatt Blue? I havent drank too much of it since I stick with Kokanee as my stock beer, then mess around with fancy beer on the side, but I think its a good beer. I know a few of my buddies drink it from time to time, and they seem to like it. For a stock, I'd say its pretty good. By stock beer, I mean a popular beer you can walk into a store and buy a 24 pack without having to search stores. On another note, damn do I ever miss being able to walk into a walmart, get some beef jerky, a video game, and a flat of Coors OG. Canada needs to put beer in consumer stores like the states.

Re: What are you drinking?
Guinness used to be my beer of choice after a heavy drinking session and I just wanted a nice slow down drink. I have kinda grew out of that stage which has left me slightly disliking Guinness and for no apparent reason.. One day am sure I will aquire the taste again. Certainly every citizen from the age of 30+ in the UK would list Guinness as one of there favourite beers/water
What are your guys opinion on Indian beer? I mentioned the beautiful taste of Bangla before and there is also Cobra which is rather nice aswell.

Re: What are you drinking?
Steamwhistle is made in TO. It's pretty good but overpriced.
Becks is a fine brew, especially in a half litre can. Stella sucks. Kirin's ok, Sap is crap.

Re: What are you drinking?
I should clear that up.
Becks is a fine beer if you're drinking a different beer after. Maybe a lowenbrow, holstein or warstienger ( i probably spelt all those wrong).
