And Brandname over here is like... "I like a gin martini w/Bombay Saph..." and just to top it off... "shaken of course" Just sounded out of place to me.

I didn't mean for it to come off as snobbish or anything at all (I'm far from an alcohol snob). Bombay is my favorite gin, though. I drink cheap drinks and mixed drinks sometimes too if I can't stomach something as strong as a martini. Depends on the day I suppose.
