if you like to dress up when you go watch the young kids at the little league games, that's fine by me Christy.

Me not caring what I wear to pickup milk means I want everyone to know about it? Keep trying.

Clearly - you won't shut up about it in this thread. The only difference between you and the narrative you made up earlier about a hipster at a bus depot is the people you want to care are all posting on a web forum. I'm honestly not sure which is more pathetic - you or your imaginary hipster.

yea. Mentioning it once, and then again in a reply to you that you mentioned it screams of me craving attention.

There must be an R-Star in your world that makes you feel like a loser. I'll gladly take your hate for him, Crystal.

Right. That is EXACTLY what it is, nail on the head. I mean, honestly - I'm kinda tearing right now pal. Truly am. You're... one of a kind, and I only wish I could truly be like you. Beloved by the masses, fame and fortune in spades, and a bank account peons could only dream of.

The thought that somewhere out there is an R*Star, sleeping comfortably beneath a warm pile of cash, is enough to let me know that all is right in this world of ours.

Nah. What you wish you could be at 29.

I was doing better at 23 than you're doing at 27.

Right. So what happened that knocked you off that pedestal in the time in between?

You guys? You dress up to go wait at the bus stop. Waiting for people to look at your clothes.
"What? Yea man, $300. They fit like a glove bro."
"huh? No one was talking to you mister. We're just waiting for the bus."

That's confident like a woman. Not a man.

If I need to dress up for a meeting, dinner, what have you, I have clothes for that. I can go out and get a tailored suit for a grand. Then I can treat it like a nice suit. Not worry if I get some mud on my day to day jeans like you idiots.

In all fairness though, at least the tow truck guy isn't surprised when he sees the guy who called him to come change his flat tire.
What made up person do you think you're talking to? I don't wear nice clothes to run to the grocery store. Today at the grocery store I wore some shorts, a bomber jacket, and a white t-shirt that has burn holes from when I used it to take a trey out of the oven.

Some people care about their appearance because they have active social lives and not video game nights with the wife.

I'd also like to state for the record, that the post you initially made fun of was asking about a $75 pair of Levis.

It is pretty much his M.O. - Someone makes a post that in doesn't agree with him, he makes up shit to suit his perceptions of the people around him. I'm never shocked when he does it, because he does it any time someone disagrees with him. But - everyone has their shtick - that's his. I use it to entertain myself on days like today where I'm just enjoying bumming around doing nothing.

My point is that no one on this forum at all is the straw man that you keep making fun of. If someone went to the bus stop in $300 jeans hoping that someone would notice how great their butt looked, then I'd join in with you making fun of them.

And if it was funny to wear off the rack jeans I'd join you making fun of them as well. But it's normal. If I'm dressing for success, it's not involving jeans often.
