I spend about $30 on jeans. You can get a real nice pair for $30. You dont need to waste your cash buying jeans that are priced over $100. That's just plain stupid IMO.

years ago I made the mistake of buying jeans at $80 (Express). soon after, i decided to check out the cheaper stores (Marshalls, Ross, TJ Maxx etc) turns out i saw the same pair of jeans--color, brand, everything-- for $35....

from that moment, never again did i spend more than $40 for jeans.

i can't understand spending $50+ on jeans much less the crazy prices a couple of you guys are talking about.

oh yeah, i usually see in those "cheaper" stores jeans that regularly would retail for $150-$180 and you can get them for $40.

Some people follow basketball religiously, some people follow recruiting, some people like fashion. I don't see the problem. I get complimented on my jeans and shoes all the time and it's well worth the money.

To the guy, ATLien?, who said "why not spend it on a nice shirt instead of jeans?" Yeah... I do. I don't eat fast food every night, I cook for myself, I don't have a family, I have a studio apartment, I rarely drive. I like spending my money to be the best dressed guy in the room, and I usually am.

I think I got like a 20% student discount, but yeah, it was a little pricey. I think the closest Nordstroms is in Chicago, but maybe I should get a grand together and go down to Michigan Ave for clothes shopping. I didn't say why not spend it on a nice shirt instead. I just said I would rather buy high quality shirts than expensive jeans, but whatever. I have nothing against people who buy high quality stuff.

Remind me not to go to Milwaukee, LOL. I would have thought you guys would have the regular stores.

It's a blessing in disguise my friend. There is no other "big" city in America where a $95 Burberry shirt get you so far.
