That will never work. She'll walk all over you. Lay the law down and stay consistent with it. It's the only way it will work.

Women will walk all over you if they feel they have any leverage. Always keep them on their heels. Gotta be hard on them unless you know for a fact you're in the wrong. Women thrive off of being wrong and strong.

There's nothing sadder than watching a guy do the whole "Is everything okay? Are you upset? What's wrong baby? c'mon tell me what's wrong," bit. My roommate freshman would do it non-stop and always found something to apologize for. It was nauseating. I had to leave the room just to stop myself from vomiting.

Seriously, is there a way to make a woman perfectly happy and content in your relationship? It seems the harder you try the more faults they find with you. I've had the most success in my relationships when I acted like I didn't give a ****.
While I more than agree that women can be the *****iest of *****es; they're not all that hard to figure out and most of the relationship problems is on the guy's part as well. The bolded part in your post is what strikes me as a wussy mentality that is not only unattractive to most women but paints a very unrealistic goal of a relationship since no one will be "perfectly happy and content" and you're destined to fail with that kind of self-fulfilling prophecy.
The sentence following the bold part is the mentality to have if you want to be successful with women without the stress of second guessing and blaming all the faults of the relationship onto yourself. Not giving a **** is a great quality to have in this area of life and ironically its what draws women more than any other personality trait from my experience. I'm not saying you are, but putting people one a pedestal will only lead to heartache and disappointment as well so if any woman/person is giving you unwanted stress with nothing worth it in return; get the hell away from 'em - there really is way too many people around to beat yourself up over one of them.
I suggest picking up material by David DeAngelo or checking out Neil Strauss' book "The Game: Penetrating the Secret Society of Pickup Artists". They are both men who are experts on picking up women and having relationships with them. David DeAngelo is my favorite since he goes into the psychology a man should have when dealing with attracting women and he explains how women operate and think on the relationship level.
