If you're looking to cut weight, it's all about moderation with your food. Last year I had the Freshmen Fifteen (and then some), I ended the year around 186 and now I'm at 167. I'm working out a lot, mainly focusing on adding muscle. I've put on a decent amount, seeing I've only been really lifting since September. I'm lucky to know some kids on the football team so I do their workout from time-to-time...and it's pretty brutal, but worth it.

If you want to add muscle, look into getting protein of some form for after workouts.
I'm not looking to cut weight per se, I'm just trying to lose body fat and gan more muscle. Basically I want to carry my weight better. I figure if I cut some weight/body fat and get a good base and build up from there with muscle I would be good. Good call on the protein, any recommendations?

I hate cycling in the gym, because the machine seems so awkward, the pedals are so different to where my real bicycle's pedals are.
I have a stationary bike at my dad's house. It's actually pretty nice and the only thing I hate about the bike is the lack of back support. What do you do for triceps, back, and shoulders?

I just got done playing ball, and I'll get back at it to finish for the day in a little bit. I'm probably gonna bike 5 miles or so again, and finish with the Ab ripper.

I do that workout minus the day on the legs because I do a lot of cycling on a real bike, and I play a lot of sports that I find work the legs enough for me.

I don't know how good it is or what-not, but it's really worked for me so far. I'm going to do that Abripper you talked about above, it looks hard but good.

I throw in cardio on most days, along with the few times in a week I play ball and football.

I haven't been to the gym in 4 weeks. Yes.

I also lost a tooth ice skating. Knocked it clean out. Made my Mother faint.

Lost a tooth? Thats rough man. I just have this iritation/burn on my ankles from the friction in the skate. I don't know how hockey players do it, skating is not exceptionally comfortable.

Re: Workout Thread

^ I have the same burn from my basketball ankle brace. It stings, hurts and itches at the same time.

Re: Workout Thread

This is what I have to wear on each ankle, thanks to how I've destroyed both:

Re: Workout Thread

On the other hand, they work. In the past two years I can count at least a half dozen times where my ankles would've been wrecked (even more) if I hadn't been wearing the braces.

Yeah, I fell over front ways and pow in the kisser one of my front teeth crunked straight out. I was about 12, so I've had a fake one for nearly 10 years now.

Re: Workout Thread

Working on 5 days straight with zero pop. Have done Abripper the past 2 days with 6 miles on the bike the 22nd. I will probably go for a jog and go lift today before we are supposedly getting this huge snowstorm.

Did an hour long indoor football yesterday, non-stop. It was very good stuff, ****ing tired.

Yeah I'm in a similar boat, but I'm going to try to fit a workout in Christmas sometime.
