Re: Workout Thread
I think I'll be going gym 27th, 28th, 29th and 30th, but only little 30 min-hour long sessions. Just top-ups, won't be in the mood for high intensity stuff.

Re: Workout Thread
Didn't workout today, and did share a traditional draft root beer with my dad. Was planning on working out, but I got this nasty *** migraine so I decided to take the day off. Will get a good workout in the next 3 days before I get my wisdom teeth removed.

Re: Workout Thread
I finally started cutting out crappy foods/drinks from my daily diet. The past week or so I have a salad for lunch and whatever my mom happens too make for dinner. Then for a snack, I have a fruit & yogurt parfait, but tonight I had a fruit salad. For something that doesn't seem too filling, it was surpringly enough too fill me up. And it was REAL good.
The key is too not eat 5 hours before you go to bed. It's all mental, now that I finally have the entire mental aspect under control, I have all the confidence in the world that I'll reach my fitness goals. I've lost about 5 pounds over break, and I want to dump a few more to get to 160 lbs before I go back next sunday. I really like how my body is starting to transform. I knew my working out was doing the job, but now that I FINALLY got rid of the crap food and have the mental edge conqured, I feel like nothing can stop me.

Re: Workout Thread
^Good luck, looks like your getting there.
Haven't posted here in a while. Done a lot of cardio recently. I'm definitely losing weight, and it's even visible in my face. I'm liking it. Eating well for once. |

Re: Workout Thread
I have only worked out twice the past 10 days because of my wisdom teeth surgery and the fact I have been dealing with an absolute brutal cold/sickness type deal. Still haven't drank any pop/soda/etc. so that's been consistent. I go back to school Sunday so I should get back into a workout groove then.

Re: Workout Thread
Down to 161 pounds in about three weeks. Started around 170.
The key was the eating habits. A good snack, if you guys want to be able too eat well but not starve yourself, is nutella a sliced banana on toast with a glass of milk. Really good.

Re: Workout Thread
I got a lot of exams this week so I don't know if I can hit the gym as hard as I usually would, can't afford to be tired really. I'll try though.
Congrats on you're loss of pounds B-Easy! Not too sure whether that snack sounds too appetising though...

Re: Workout Thread
I delved into this mysterious world you guys call a 'gym' today (first time in like 3 months) ... I played about 45 minutes pick up basketball, first time playing since my knee surgery so I really enjoyed being able to cross over and spin without my knee dropping out on me.
Went upstairs to the weights room did some bicep curls then hit the bench. Finally did some abs then got a chicken sandwich for protein when I left. Not the largest workout I'll ever do, but first day back is always the hardest. About to watch the P90X video, see what's ******lacking with that.

Re: Workout Thread
A friend of mine was telling me he has some really intense workouts for when we get back too campus. He went as far as too call himself the "Gym Nazi" lol. I love working out with him, I learn a lot.

Re: Workout Thread
![]() My lifting is going to be limited for a week or so cos of this new tat, it'll hurt a lot with it, so I'm just going to do cardio alone for a while. I'll be a ****ing machine by the end of next week. I'll sprint 15 miles a day. |

Re: Workout Thread
To finish the whole thing? True that, **** sucks, but it's a great ****ing workout. That with cardio will have anyone near a damn six pack in short time, well I mean unless your ****ing morbidly wide then maybe not.
11 miles yesterday on the bike with bench, and abs. Shot around for an hour at the gym then biked 8.5 miles on the interval program. Did abs too. Feeling pretty good if I do say so myself. |
