Re: Workout Thread
I just finished my first week on creatine mono and no-xplode. First day I felt a huge pump and did some sets with weights I wasn't able to do before, but that might have been a placebo effect because while I have noticed a gain in my strength this week, it wasn't like the first day where I felt huge strength gains. I expect some good increases over the next month. And I bought a 50 serving bottle of no-xplode and that's all I'm going to buy, the only reason I got it is because I hit a wall and wanted some extra juice, I didn't buy it for the long term. And I have noticed a slight gain in my build over this week, my biceps are definitely fuller, but no weight gain yet.
I'm a little confused though because when I was reading about creatine mono it said to avoid caffeine. But no-xplode has a bunch of caffeine and creatine in it, so one thing says creatine and no caffeine, and the other says mix creatine and caffeine. Oh well, the no-xplode will only last about 2 months anyway.

I've been on both before and creatine mono didn't really do anything for me. I bought it on sale so it wasn't a big waste of money but I really didn't see the results that I was expecting. No-Xplode on the other hand has worked beautifully for me. All of my muscle groups have shot up in size and strength, and it tastes great. Definiatly would reccomend it to anyone.

Moved up in all of my lifts today for shoulders and biceps. It was good ****. My arms are going to be sore as hell tomorrow, I did two separate sets of burners. When I do burners I put three tens on each side of the curl bar. I did 5, took a ten off of each side, 10, took a ten off each side, 15, took the last ten off then did 20 just the bar. Burns so bad.

Re: Workout Thread
Done.
I really haven't worked out in a while. I've played football and basketball, and I'm going to play football tonight, so it's not as if I've got fat, I just haven't done any muscular exercise whatsoever, unfortunately. I think it'll be another week until I get around to it. |

Re: Workout Thread
Anyone know any good supplements/shakes for building lean muscle? I want to workout more and lift more often, but I feel like my muscle mass builds quickly and it kinds makes me not want to lift as much... It's not really gaining weight, because I get alot of cardio in and my weight is pretty stable regarless of when I lift or not, but I just dont want the buff upper body look when I workout. I want more of the lean/toned look. I try to keep my workouts balanced, but I find myslef doing more lower body & core workouts these days instead of chest/tri's/bi's, because I feel like my arms & chest put on mass easily. I dont know if that's normal, cuz I dont really take any supplements at the moment. Idk if I just need to focus my workouts on other areas more, or if I should try taking some supplements that claim to help with this? Any advice?? Have the lean supplements worked for anyone?

Re: Workout Thread
I just recently started getting into mountain biking. Probably one of the most entertaining ways of getting some good exercise.

Re: Workout Thread
Been hitting the gym like crazy this year. I'm down to about 161, and I see a lot more definition in my abs, chest, shoulders and arms. All my old shirts are like tents on me now, and a lot of people have been noticing my weight loss.
I'm around 25 lbs lost roughly.
