That map actually seems really accurate... I call it soda, having lived in Wisconsin for so long... all of my family/friends in Illinois call it "pop"

Soda and Coke are interchangable. I actually say soda more tho.

Pop just doesn't sound right

I always thought it was odd that someone would call it 'coke' unless it was specifically a coke.

Same here. Makes no sense to call every soda a Coke.

If its a mixed drink I call the actual name of the pop. Crown and Coke, Rum and Rootbeer, etc.
