What should I do after I accidently put unleaded gas in the tank of Lexus 470 (2007)?

It is required to use premium gas.

You should be ok. Just be easy on the accelerator until you get low enough to fill it back up with premium. Most cars today that require premium will only get a slight performance loss, and the occasional spark knock with heavy loads. Every car I own requires premium, and regular never hurt them.

I wouldn't worry about it.

Better analogy would be taking a whale and putting it on land. They're mammals sure, but you wouldn't want to do that would you?

You NEVER put the wrong grade gas in your car. The gunk from the impurities get stuck in the motor and over time your engine will lock up. This isn't if you keep using unleaded mind you, but just once. Once the initial gunk is on the pistons, then even every time you use premium, some more gunk will build up on the last until your engine locks up and blows out.

Good lord people... he used the wrong grade of gas one time. It's not like he put diesel in it. It will be fine just don't make a habit out of it because the next time it might cause your car to explode all spontaneous like.

the propose of this thread is to let bs know the dangers of using the wrong grade of fuel. Just because you work in the oil industry doesn't mean you can hide the truth from bs. It's unethical to lie to him.

The oil sands are cleaner than any non renewable extraction process done in America. You guys are the worst polluters on the planet, which is why its always so comical when idiot Americans pull the "No tar sands! Think of the kids!"
