Twins beat a man to death for stash of Magic: The Gathering cards

Thirty-year-old Sean Dugas was brutally beaten to death by two players who were looking to obtain his extensive collection of Magic cards. An active player in the Pensacola area, Dugas had a collection that was valued between $25,000 and $100,000.

William Cormier and his twin brother, Christopher, are the two facing allegations of murder. Apparently William slayed Dugas on Aug. 27 before burying the body in nearby Winder, Ga. It was on Oct. 8 that Dugas' body was discovered in a plastic container.

Magic Players in Pensacola are understandably upset that the life of one of their own was cut short over a card collection. "He was a dominant figure in the Magic community. When news came of his death, it shook all of us," said Calvin Rarie, president of the Gathering, the University of West Florida's Magic club.

And here I thought it was 2012.

I thought the title read "Man killed with Magic Cards" and thought wow, this is going to be a hell of a story.

Now I'm sitting here hoping these social outcasts rot in jail. They say twins can sometimes feel when the other is in pain, I wonder if they'll feel it when their brother is anally raped on a nightly basis?

I can't really believe that these cards are actually worth that sort of money. I know damned well they aren't worth what the Moron twins are going to earn from them.

Less messed up. Because if they're magic players they were undoubtedly keeping the cards for game use.

Less. Murder for $100K makes more sense than murder for a piece of cardboard.

Had no idea a card can be worth that much. It's basically a coaster with specific words on it.
