Re: Movember
I never move embers, that's how forest fires get started. Always douse them thoroughly with water.

Re: Movember
I like Movember, but unfortunately it has made it to American in the form of the bastardized "no shave November" which is not for any charity or any purpose, nor is it funny like mustaches.

Re: Movember
Mines feeble, it grows darker in some areas than others. I'm still making it work.

Re: Movember
I've had friends that have done "No Shave November" at least since 2003... that is to say: since I got to college. People were probably doing it before then as well. I didn't hear about this "Movember" thing until like 2 or 3 years ago. :P So I wouldn't say Movember made it to the US as No Shave November - because that has been around for a WHILE now. I've kinda started doing a hybrid thing for amusement purposes (I care about the whole cancer issue, but really if I don't shave it's for personal amusement). I grow it all out all month long - and then for the first few weeks of December I shave off everything else and leave the mustache.
In other news: I would like to thank the half of my face that decided to show up for No Shave November this year. I feel asymmetrical.

As for me, I'm doing no shave November up through the deer hunting season. Afterwards, I might switch it up to Movember.

Re: Movember
I'm not cool enough to be a hipster. I do it because it amuses me.

Re: Movember
I'm rocking one this year. I get a lot of "You greasy piece of shit" looks when I'm out in public, then you see them clue in with the "Oh yea, he must be doing it for prostate cancer."
I'm looking forward to being able to shave it off.
